Megan Cary’s passion turned into a career when she was 18 years old and started working for the marketing teams at Fender Musical Instruments and Specialty Brands; EVH Gear, Jackson, Charvel Guitars, and Gretsch. Megan photographed and filmed artist like; pop princess Carly Rae Jepsen, country heartthrob, Joe Nichols, rock band, Cheap Trick, Spotify’s metal featured artist, Gus G, Megadeth’s bass player, David Ellefson, and the list goes on. Megan photographed Fender, EVH, Jackson, Charvel and Gretsch guitars. These images are used in NAMM conventions, catalogs, social media lifestyle shots, and magazines.
While the two years she was at Fender, she taught herself videography and video editing. She filmed and edited instrument demos, artist interviews, and product promo videos. These videos can be found on Fender, EVH, Jackson, Charvel and Gretsch websites along with their youtube and social media accounts.
Megan was then offered in 2017 to come work and intern at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee. Megan worked in the Public Programs department, helping with Singer Songwriter Sessions, working with country artist, and expanding her knowledge about music.
Big Machine Label Group, reached out to Megan to photograph country artist, Alex Williams album cover. Since then, her photographs have been published in Rolling Stone, Billboard and various other music magazines and websites. After her time with the Country Music Hall of Fame, she made Nashville her new home. Megan is currently a freelance photographer for LoveBug Marketing.
Megan now has her own photography buisness and her goal is to deliver beautiful, professional, and quality work. Megan works in the Nashville, TN.
